Hey guys, and welcome to this episode of Sass and Sips, the podcast where Lisa and Brittany watch and reweep, we re watch and we drink and we dish and we fuck up our words. I'm Lisa.
SPEAKER_01You should know this, guys.
SPEAKER_02Uh I'm Brittany. And today we are talking about Wait, who are you? I'm Lisa. I said I'm Lisa. Oh, I didn't hear you. I yeah, okay, but I'm still Lisa. I'll say okay. Hi, we're us, and you're you. And in this episode, in this episode, we are talking about episode three of Six Feet Under, The Foot. And I am drinking a little bit of red wine. You'll you know why if you listen to the Patreon pre-show, I have to get up early tomorrow, and I may not make it to next week's episode and find out. Come back next week to see if I lived. You're gonna make it and we're gonna bullshit again, fuck up our words, find out about your neighbor. It's gonna be great. Yeah. So in the Patreon pre-show that's um available now, it's already posted on Patreon. I I give you guys an update about my weirdo fucking neighbors and the reason I can't drink too much tonight, and the reason I may not live till see next week. I may not see episode four.
SPEAKER_01But fucking let's talk about episode three. What you reference a lot what we talk about in the pre-show, so like it may be a little try to put the pieces together if you don't hear it. But like if you hear something you're like, what it makes sense if you listen to the pre-show.
SPEAKER_02I mean, really, like you can spare a dollar a month, so preferably three, because that could help us buy wine, but yeah, I mean, definitely a dollar, but maybe wait till next week, see if I live first, see if this is gonna be a show.
SPEAKER_01Britney's rolling the eyes, it's gonna be fine. You're not gonna end up like this guy. Well, I hope not because I'm not going to a bread factory. Oh my god. So, what are you drinking? So I hydrated in our pre-show, and now I have my Santa Margarita Pinot Grugio, is my favorite white wine ever. That sounds so fancy, so bougie. Santa Margarita. I don't know if it is or it isn't, but it's just so good. Drink it. Oh, it's so good. Whenever I see it like on a wine list at a restaurant, I'm just like, yes, I'm gonna have that. So yeah, and I try not to try it to get out of it because I'm like, hmm, but it's oh my god, if I could cook with this wine all the time, I would. I don't have money like that. So not yet, not yet, not yet. Not this year, maybe next year.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, maybe next year.
SPEAKER_01So this episode is called The Foot, and this episode, the synopsis states when a bakery owner is killed, it's up to Frederico. We already said this, didn't we? We well, the pre-show. Oh, yeah, we did say it because I'm like, wait, did Lisa just say this in the beginning? And I didn't hear her name or her say the synopsis. No, I said it the pre-show. Okay, it's like Tumpty Dumpty in a bread factory, pretty much, and it's up to Frederico put the pieces back together.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so basically, the owner of the bread factory. Well, I believe he's the owner, is showing his new worker. I assume he okay, maybe he's not a new worker, but I think he's a new worker. He's a young, younger kid, probably a late teenager or whatever, how to go inside the dough mixer to climb inside and clean it because otherwise you get roaches. The kid, while the old man is inside, asks if he thinks that anyone has ever had sex in there. But at the same time, and the guy's like, Why would you even ask that? But then at the same time, there's a roach crawling on his hand, and he freaks out like any normal person would when a giant roach is crawling on your hand. Tips the ladder, knocks into the switches, and turns on the bread mixer, and it's the end of the old man question. Okay, it's time for Lisa's stupid question of the night. Oh, continuity errors? Let's go. Well, not a continuity error, right? But this is like the diving question all over again. I feel like I always have a stupid question. So he because he's like, we we have we have to clean it because it attracts roaches, and nobody wants to find a roach in their bread, right? And the kid is like, Well, why don't you just spray it? And he's like, Yeah, yeah, sure. We'll just spray raid. Okay, then you poison the bread. Fine, I get that. But if you're climbing into the bread mixer and cleaning it, aren't you contaminating it by being in there?
SPEAKER_01How the yeah, so what I was telling Lisa right before we started recording between the pre-show and now was that I feel like I was reading the synopsis and like that. The employee was asking if anyone ever had sex and miss in the mixer, and I was like, I don't remember that. And then I'm like, Oh yeah, this scene's a little realistic for me, and I kind of like a little fast forward on this part, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So but it's it's like it's unsanitary, unless you're a real fan. So I don't remember like he he climbed all the way in it.
SPEAKER_01That's how compete like in my memory from when I remember seeing this scene as a kid and getting freaked the fuck out, I just remember him falling into it. So I thought maybe he had like a little mop on a stick and was like going like this, and then he was like, oh, and fell in, you know what I mean? It seemed like he climbed in. No, I trust you, you watched it like twice.
SPEAKER_02It's just like so unsanitary because I'm like, okay, so if you put on like a full clean hazmat suit, like fresh out, you know, then I then fine because then it's clean, but you're walking the floor, you're getting in your hair, your shoes. How is that any better than I don't know?
SPEAKER_01Okay, no, no, you do know because like if they're mixing the bread, how the fuck did they get out the bread? There must be like some kind of little like trapdoor area where you can like position yourself there and then kind of clean the inside or soap and water, and then you run it.
SPEAKER_02Right, and then like with something so dangerous, there has to be a better system than oops, not into a wood of ladder and turned it on and killed you. Yeah, like I mean, this isn't like 1940s, right? This is 2001. I mean, I guess if it wasn't for stupid shit, we wouldn't have a show, but yeah, anyway, so man's dead, yeah. He's dead. His name is Mr. Romano, Mr. Romano, and all his family have like those tacky Long Island accents.
SPEAKER_01It was I love it, I love it, and like I don't know. I watch shows and sometimes I forget where the locations are because I'm just like, oh, like I'm used to hearing that like where we live. Yeah, they're in Los Angeles, it's so out of place there.
SPEAKER_02I know. All right, I hope that you guys out there will not mind, but we're gonna have to go through this just a little bit faster. So I'm I'm not gonna do uh the long synopsis. They have sex, he wants to go, they have sex, surpriser, shocker. He says that he wants to go back to Seattle and he wants her to go with him, and she's all like, but I've only known you for two weeks. Okay, what the fuck, Nate? Like the whole Nate and Brenda thing, I get it, they only known each other for two weeks. Nate's fucking ridiculous, but in the beginning of the episode, he's like, he goes from oh, you're my woman, come to Seattle, and by the end of the episode, it's like, is she seeing someone else? I don't there's so much to unpack there, but I feel like they're not gonna give us anything until the next episode. Because we'll we'll get into that, but it's like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he brings up like the tattoo issue again, like the Nathaniel tattoo that Brenda had, and she's just like speechless about it.
SPEAKER_02He kind of just like counterattacks with that, but it's like they're having a couple banter, like in the scene, which is ridiculous because as she just said, they've only known each other for two weeks. Like, are they a couple?
SPEAKER_01They're not even a couple. And so, did we mention the setting of this? Because I was I was reading right when you just started talking. No, so the setting of this is like oh, I'm sorry, they're in they're in her house, but then like they they talk about this again in a different setting that we'll talk about in a little bit. Because in this episode, like there's this house across the street that's up for sale.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but we didn't we didn't get there yet.
SPEAKER_01No, we'll get back to that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, Ruth is getting on David back at their house because he didn't soak his oatmeal. Which when you don't put water in your dishes, I'm sorry, but it's a pain in the ass. Like if you don't do dishes, put fucking water in your dish. Like it's the least that you can do, and somebody else is gonna fucking wash up after you. Sorry, but rant over. Nate comes in, decides that he wants to sell the business, and basically all get on the same page. He says that he's gonna go meet with Croner. Croner gives him a big fat check, and then he has this revelation in the car afterwards because he stops at a light, and there's people picketing, not picketing, protesting a park. But instead, he like his he sees his father sitting with him as and the father's telling him you have a chance to do something good. And instead, he sees the people's sign saying you're a sellout, and he changes his mind. He goes home. Oh, yeah, no, no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Yeah, so he goes home and he he tells him that he changes his mind, and David's like, Oh, sure, we'll just keep the business in the morning and sell it in the afternoon, and when we're feeling like fun, we'll sell it twice a day.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so I feel like Nate's change of mind came and like the thoughts or his hallucinations while he was at the light in the protest came from when the rep at Croner, I forgot his first name, but when he starts telling Nate about how in their business what they do is that to like make like the the best profit, they kind of centralize where they have like imagine like a sun, right? And then the middle of the sun is like where all their morticians are, they just have like this one almost like like in like a centralized, right? Like a centralized location, yeah, a centralized location, and then like the spokes are like of the sun or like all their different funeral homes, and so it's pretty, and I think Nate actually says like so it's like a factory, and so I think, and it seems like the kind of person Nate is and his profession, and it seems like I mean, your profession kind of like aligns somewhat with your view on life, and it seems like his profession really does. I mean, like he's making a choice to move to Seattle, to be like super hipster, have a co-op, his parents are trying to find him soy milk, like you know, like that really speaks on his character and how he feels about like factory versus small business, and that's what makes him feel like he's a sellout. The fact that he's okay with um like a big business taking over something that was uh family-run small business, but then after this scene in like the kitchen, like when Nate comes back home and he's like, I don't want to sell the business anymore. After this, the next scene, David and Keith are like looking at ceiling fans, yeah.
SPEAKER_02They're they're shopping, it's like it's just so normal looking for them for David, yeah. To just be like in public, like a couple, like you know, and he's talking to Keith and he's opening up to him. And you know, Keith is like so supportive, and he's just like basically you can do whatever you want, like it's not too late, and it is what it is. But I think that that was actually right before Nate comes back and says he changed his mind because David mentions feeling relieved about the idea of selling, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And then while they're at the store, um, the sailing fan store, there's like some guy that like says, like, excuse me, walks in between them and completely cruises David right in front of Keith. And David was just like in awe about it, like completely forgetting. He didn't realize it, and Keith pointed it out.
SPEAKER_02He's like, Yeah, yeah, and David's like, really?
SPEAKER_01Right in front of me, and then yeah, because David was like, What? And Keith was like, he just cruised you, and David was so like happy about it, and Keith's like, um, hello, like, no, well, because it it I think that he was just so it made me feel like David was high strong options out there, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Which is disgusting, yeah, yeah, and like it's okay, you know, in a way it's kind of like hey, it's okay, and or hey, look, people see who you are, but but after this, we see Claire at high school, yeah. So Claire has this thing where she had okay, no, before she gets to high school, she comes to breakfast, but she she Ruth is like, How are you? Whatever, and she's so happy. She it is like this whole musical number where they she's singing and dancing and they're wearing gowns, and it's like, what the actual fuck? But it's just because she's like a teenager in love. I mean, Greece did it, so but she doesn't want to eat, and of course, Ruth is like, Do you have an eating disorder? She's like, Are you salemic? Is that what we're gonna have to deal with now? And Claire's like, Do you want me to be? But her rendezvous with Gabe leads to her car being tagged, toe sucker and little piggy slut. And she ends up confronting Gabe about it, and he's just like, Well, I did tell one person, and I I couldn't quite tell if he like how much he knew, you know, like how genuine he was being right, right. Yeah, I felt the same way, but she gets him back later.
SPEAKER_01She will definitely get hit her her, yeah, she gets him, and so leading into like Claire's next scene. Uh Nate has to go pick up this body that's all chopped up from the bread slicer or the bread mixer, I mean, right. So he goes to the morgue, he's literally picking up liquid and pieces in a bag.
SPEAKER_02And I think the mortician says the guy from the um well, you first you just see him carrying it out with the guy, and he drops and he's like, Well, that might have been his head, or maybe his pelvis, not probably his head, yeah. And doesn't he say, like, but everything's in there, like everything's in there because they were they even refer to him, I believe, as Humpty Dumpty at one point in the episode. Yes, they do, and so he he gets the guy back and he brings it to their room. What what do you call it? Like their not their lab, but you know, their their facility. Yes, and as he's trying to get the body on the table, Claire comes in and says she needs to talk to him, but he dropped what first of all, he dropped it before she even came in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because then he was trying to like get it up on the table, so that's why um Frederico could work on it, right? And he's trying to do this all alone, and it like slips, and now the bobby's all over her, right?
SPEAKER_02And it's body parts. I mean, so Nate is like disgusted and whatever, but then Claire comes in and he blames it all on her. He's like, What would you made me do? And she says she needs to talk to him, but he's like, I don't have time right now. And then she's like, you know what? Fine, and she leaves. David comes in, they pass each other on the stairs. David comes in and is like, What are you doing? Because Nate's vomiting, he's just he's done. And he's just like, I have another job for you. Like, I have something better suited for you. Leave this alone, let let Rico handle it. David sends him to like prune hedges. The guy from Croner comes back and he's tells him basically, you made a mistake and we bought the house across the street, and we're gonna put you out of business in six months. You fucked up big time, basically. Yeah, meanwhile, Ruth is hanging with her friend, and they're trying to well, she's sitting there while Ruth is trying to separate clothes for the goodwill from Nate Sr. She's not doing a very good job, and she kind of like loses interest, and then she's like, I've never flipped this mattress, it's been like 20 years. Let's flip the mattress.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she has a big I'm going through loss moment where she's just like erratic, and she was being really um cold towards Nate's physical or the late Nate Senior's physical items. Her friend like calls her out on it. She's just like, Look, you're a goodwill pile, and you're not keeping anything it is, and she just said, Why?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because she's like, Well, one pile should be for memories and one for goodwill, and everything was for goodwill. And she's like, Do you think goodwill will take this? Or do you think what did she say? Do you think it's ugly or something like that? I don't know. But something like not very do you think goodwill takes, yeah, like yeah, she's so whatever. And basically, she's just been dealing with it, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so, like, in a way, like, just despite her friend, she's like, like, pretty much what Ruth was doing when she like pulled all the sheets off of her bed and flipped the mattress was like, Here, you want me to grieve? You want me to like go through all the stages? Fine, let's go through the stages. And they flipped her mattress. Friend's like, Do you feel better? Like trying to be supportive, but like obnoxiously supportive. It's like, no.
SPEAKER_02I I thought that that when they flipped the mattress, they would like find something underneath once you're ready.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I was slightly disappointed when it was just a mattress on the other side, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like later on, I don't know if it's the same day or the next day, she calls her friend and they go to the track, and you know, like they bet a little bit of money, and the friend is so excited because she won like $16. And Ruth is like, Oh, I won like $4,000. And she's like, What? But then later you see her home, and she's like, I lost $25,000. And her sons are like, It's gone. She's like, Well, it has to be somewhere, but it's but I don't have it.
SPEAKER_01Like, oh my god, yeah, she's like, Yeah, I bet like a little bit, and then I turned into more and more and more, and then I did a big one and I lost. Yeah, you're talking about it like it was nothing like the way that Ruth speaks about things, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because she was close, like in your head, right? She was telling Nate, and then David walks in and he's like, What? And she's like, Fine, you got it out of me. Bless you.
SPEAKER_00Like, he didn't even say anything.
SPEAKER_02David, like, didn't even say anything, and she's like, You're happy now, you got it out of me. He's like so overwhelmed by all this information. After they find out about the house across the street, Nate and Brenda end up in it. And Nate tells her about how he used to play there and the family belonged to, and the little girl used to chase him around, try to kiss him, and they start making out and fucking on this disgusting couch that is yeah, ripped apart and dusty and ill, fucking gross, like just absolutely not, never ill. They're just too big germs, yeah. And like you see, like the images of the kids, like supposed to be them from the past, and they're watching, and I'm like, ew, creepy, but what the fuck was that scene? Because the phone rings, right? But what was that scene with the little girl? Like, I forgot what she said. Okay, so she was like, um, I'm gonna kiss you, or something like that. I think no, no, she was like under a blanket, and it was like when when the phone rings for Brenda. Oh, um shit. I forgot that. Yeah, it was it was just so and she says something like I want to say she says like I'm not a banana, but I don't know what I don't remember what she said, but it was so strange. It was like, where the fuck did that come from? But I don't know. But at the end of this scene, they wake up, they clearly fell asleep postcoital. They wake up, Brenda's phone is ringing, she answers it, and you can hear a guy on the other end like kind of angry with her. And basically, she's like, Okay, well, you just have to wait. Okay, well, I'll I'm on my way. And Nate is asking her, What's that all about? And she's like, I don't have, I don't, I can't do this right now, something to that effect. Yeah. Yeah, but she's like, it's just it's someone else. That's what she says. So you don't know if that someone else is someone she's seeing, or if that's someone just like it, it really could be anyone.
SPEAKER_01So I just assumed it was like her brother. Um, I don't know if that's my memories, or if that's an indication from last episode. Do you remember? Or was it the first episode with like the olives and her brother? Yeah. And she she makes a note mentioning to Nate somewhere between episode one and this episode, that her brother has like bipolar disorder. Yeah, it was in the first one. Yeah. So I just assume that that was like her brother, like on a low, like maybe being um very like I don't know, like very, I don't want to say dramatic because I feel like that's like insensitive to people. No, but I know what you mean. But like maybe he was just like on the brink of suicide, like that, like low, low, like that. And he was like, I need you, I need you. And she's like, Okay, I can't at the moment, but I will be there soon. And like trying to be calm about it.
SPEAKER_02See, I feel like the scene is trying to lead you to think that it's another man in in like a sexual way, yeah. Which it could be, but it very well could be. I really don't right. It but it doesn't have to be because there was nothing inherently sexual about the phone call, so but that's what I mean. It's like they go from in the beginning, they go from you're my woman, move to Seattle to some other man calls her and she's not even explaining.
SPEAKER_01Not that she necessarily owes him an explanation, but but she just ups and leaves, like she leaves, but whatever was was clearly important to her, and she didn't more important than like that current moment with him. She's like, he's something of interest to her, being that she's gone above and beyond four games so far. But let's get back to Claire. Yes, so Claire confronts Gabe about you know, like um, and we spoke about this, and so like Claire's way of getting back, yeah, because literal, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So you the next thing you see is Gabe opening his locker and finding a foot. Oh, did we forget to mention that as they're putting Mr. Romano back together, they are missing his foot and none of them could find it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it's like literally the next thing Claire's walking down the high school hallway with like a biohazard bag.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and meanwhile, his his family, who are obviously from Long Island, are there saying, and you're gonna do a good job, right? Because you charge enough, yeah. They're like, Yeah, you're the best, you'll be satisfied. And then they were like, We want to use these shoes. Fuck the sandals. Oh my gosh. No, no, no, no, no, don't worry. We we gotta we have the best, and they're like, he's just like he's shitting his pants right there. He's like, we don't have a foot. Yeah, well, they call David from the school. Actually, no, sorry, they call the house, and Rico answers, and they tell Rico everything that's going on. Rico is the one who calls David and tells him. So David is like, Oh my god, but like, okay, well, we've kind of found the foot, so right, so that's a good thing. And Keith is like, but let me help you. Like, I'm a cop. This is this is what I do because they they had the foot, but they don't have the foot. Yeah, because now the foot's whereabouts are unknown, right? Because now Gabe is saying, like, no, no, no, it was a joke, it was a joke, it wasn't true. They know it's true. So Keith and Keith goes and talks to Gabe and is like, Look, I'm gonna be straight with you. Like, where the fuck is the foot? So he admits to throwing it out of his car, and Keith tells David, Look, just just go home. I got this, you know. Like, let me help you. I got it. I'll I'll go and I'll find it, and I'll do my best to not have a report. So while David is out there at night, and I don't know, which is weird because it's like there was a fence. So, how did he throw it out of a car window? But there was a fence, I don't know. He's looking for the foot, and he runs into Claire. It was Keith that was out looking for the foot. Right. Did I say David? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, sorry, yeah, Keith. So he runs into Claire, and they end up having a conversation about David. Claire knows, like, Claire knows she she calls him on it, and Keith basically just tells her, like, I see a guy who is genuine, and you know, he says just all these nice things, and it's kind of sad because Claire is like, I wish I knew that David. She's like, I wish I knew the David you knew, which is kind of sad, like, but I guess that's how it is sometimes.
SPEAKER_01They end up like a facade family where he would like, I get it from Ruth, I get it from David. Nate obviously isn't like his family. Claire didn't want to follow it, but she had to.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they end up not finding the foot, they give up, they're like, it's not here, they give up, whatever. When they go home at the funeral, oh, before the funeral, the family wants to check and make sure that all that he's all there. And Nate is like, our our guy is very artistic, you can't disturb him until he's done. And they're like, Okay, so at the funeral, they want to check, and they're like shitting bricks. But when he lips, when she lifts the lid, you see that he has shoes on, and David is so relieved, and Rico's like, Yeah, there was a leg of lamb in the freezer, and I wrapped it, and I David's like, I don't want to know, I don't just whatever. So he saved their ass, and then they're talking, and they're like, Do you think of what I'm thinking? And David's, yeah, and Nate's so confused, and they're just like, Cough, what do they call her? Coffin jumper, coffin climber, yeah, yeah, that's what it was. And he's like, No, but she looks old, and he's like, and sure enough, she jumped right on the coffin and how to get her off.
SPEAKER_01She was quiet and crying to herself, and they're like, Yeah, she's gonna jump. She's just showing they like have to pull her out. Like, imagine like the foot just woke right, the legal lamb fell out. Oh, and so after service is over. Um, the family's just like in that like main room, their steps because right, because Ruth is sitting on the steps, and they're you know, they're just having a family discussion.
SPEAKER_02I forgot what they were talking about exactly. Maybe it's just like the business. And Claire comes in, and you know, they're talking to her and basically saying that the officer, uh, Keith is no, oh okay. David mentions that Keith is gonna try to keep a report from being filed, and Ruth asks, Who's Keith? And they say, My my friend who's a cop. You don't have a friend who's a cop. I don't, and she's just like, you know, and he's like, Yes, you met him, and then finally she's like, Oh, okay. She's so like, but then when Claire comes in, they're talking to her, and and you know, she's just like that they're gonna make her see a school person or whatever, yeah. Um, and then she's like, um, by the way, the house across the street is on fire. Like you they go outside, and you can see obviously the house across the street is on fire.
SPEAKER_01I I remember that scene as Claire walking in and being like, Oh, yeah, by the way, the house on across the street's on fire, and then her saying, like, once they're outside looking at it, that's literally a problem being burned away, and Claire being like, and you say I never do anything for this family.
SPEAKER_02I don't remember that. I feel like she threw in a line. See, because after I saw that part, I was wondering if the person that Brenda called had something to do with it. Oh, and I feel like if I heard Claire say that, I wouldn't have thought that because I thought Brenda was behind it because she's crazy, like last time it was a bus, and you know, this time it could have been a house on fire, but it could also have been an accident because they were in the house, yeah.
SPEAKER_01But I just going back in the episode because it's gonna bother me now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I thought that I mean Claire could definitely have something to do with it because I remember thinking it's either Claire or it's Brenda, but maybe that's who the guy Brenda was talking to, you know, and then she's like, Oh, but you have to wait, but you have to wait because they were still in there. So I don't, you know, I don't know. I am not sure. Um almost such a little boy.
SPEAKER_01I like caught one line.
SPEAKER_00I guess it should solve all your problems, huh?
SPEAKER_01Okay, she says, I guess this should solve all your problems, huh? And then watch Nate's face, he's right there. Yeah, he's right, it just like I got the vibe that like Claire did that, and he looks right shocked that she knew such like a crime like that, right? She's capable of that. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02So it's a little bit to me, it was a little bit ambiguous about who did it. Could it be Claire?
SPEAKER_01Sure. Yeah, because she was like, they I mean, like when she said that she stole the foot, they were just like shitting on her completely, and like understandably so, but she was just being knocked down, knocked down, knocked down. So I thought that was her, like the way that I interpreted the episode, I thought that was like her way of um owing it back, yeah. Yeah, like doing like where she saw a favor could be done, she did something without being told, and so that line fed into like my theory of that, or like what I thought about that. But that could have been that phone call on the phone, too. Like, maybe I don't know. Will will we find out how the fire started? Do you remember? I don't, all right, let's be honest. But I was actually surprised when it came up at the end of the episode because I remember it being spread like that issue being spread over two episodes, and I was just like, Oh shit, that happens at the end of this episode.
SPEAKER_02Like, but yeah, I mean, I have a feeling that Croner isn't going away. This is just one you know, setback for them, but but they'll be back. Yeah, but I like this episode, I think that this episode was definitely more meaty. It went it went a little bit deeper into their stories, into their relationships, and bigger problems, you know, house on fire and a foot in a locker.
SPEAKER_01Like what the last episode I asked you um what character you're most excited to learn more about, and you said David. Do you feel like you learned a little bit more about him in this episode?
SPEAKER_02Yes, especially when they were shopping, because he he always seemed so stiff, and then all of a sudden, when the guy cruised him, his whole demeanor changed.
SPEAKER_01It was almost like he let a big fart out and he was able to breathe again, you know what I mean? Yeah, it's just like, oh, I can move my muscles again, right? He's so robotic and stiff in the show, and like, yes, that's his character. But I mean, like to see him, like you're right, to see him just like take a step back away from his personality, yeah, it was just wild.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, his whole demeanor changed, and I was like, okay, maybe maybe this is the beginning, you know. And Nate, I feel like Nate is still Nate, Claire is rebelling a little more, and Ruth is still Ruth, and I was supporting characters.
SPEAKER_01I feel like we do learn more about Brenda, and I was definitely a supporting character. I feel like we kind of learned like what kind of person he could be. Keith? Gabe. Oh, Gabe, yeah, yeah, yeah. And we learned about Keith too. I mean, like his and Claire's relationship. But he has, yeah, it's cute.
SPEAKER_02I I think that like as far as his character, it hasn't changed, but I did like the scene between him and Claire because I felt comforted in that conversation because he was honest with her, and it was nice. It was nice that he, I mean, Claire knew, and he uh you know, she she made it clear that she knew, but he didn't hold back, you know, and he didn't say he just said nice things, and and it was nice, you know.
SPEAKER_01So it was yeah, anything else before we wrap up? I think that's it. I mean, I would say, like, what are you most excited to learn about in the next episode? But we'll just leave that for the next episode.
SPEAKER_02I have I have absolutely no idea. The only thing I know about the next episode is that it's called Familia, but I have no idea what to expect. I I didn't read any synopsis or anything, so nothing. So yeah. Until next time. Until next time, if I live that long, don't smell that Lisa.
SPEAKER_01You gonna send me to Fisher and Sons? I'm Britney, she's Lisa. Have a night.
SPEAKER_00I'm the top of this.
SPEAKER_02All right, drink responsibly, don't drink a drive, go to SassinsFouse.com to support the show. Do all the things, and we'll probably see you here next time.
SPEAKER_01We will see if they choose to come. But you're coming. Okay, all right, all right. All right, bye guys.
SPEAKER_02Bye.
